Plans and billing

How pricing works per tracked keyword, what Free and paid plans include, and how to buy, change, pay for and cancel a subscription.

Serplyze is priced by the number of keywords you track. You pick a keyword volume for the workspace, and every project in the workspace shares it. The first 100 keywords are free. Current prices are on the pricing page.

Everything on this page is done in Settings → Plan and billing, by an owner or admin of the workspace.

How pricing works

  • The price depends on the keyword volume you choose and is graduated: each price band bills only the keywords that fall inside it, so a larger volume has a lower average price per keyword.
  • Paid volumes come in steps of 1,000 keywords. Above the largest volume on the pricing page, the price is set individually; the dialog shows Talk to us.
  • The plan name follows the volume. You do not choose a tier separately.
  • Prices are in US dollars and exclude tax.
  • There is no trial. The Free plan is free for as long as you like.

What counts as a keyword

The count is every tracked keyword in the workspace that is not paused, across all projects.

ExampleCounts as
One keyword in three groups1 keyword. Groups are views; the keyword is stored once.
One keyword on desktop, mobile and tablet1 keyword. Device breakdowns come with every tracked keyword.
“running shoe” and “running shoes”2 keywords. Google reports them as separate queries.
The same keyword in two projects2 keywords. Each project counts on its own.
  • A paused (archived) keyword does not count. Restoring it counts again.
  • When the limit is reached, the keywords you already track keep syncing every day. Adding more is refused until you raise the volume or pause keywords you no longer need. The add dialog offers Add only the first ones that fit and an Increase limit link.
  • The Billing page shows how much of the volume is in use. Owners and admins can open See by project for the split.

Daily sync, alerts in the app, forecasts, content findings and CSV export are part of every plan. These limits are set in the plan catalogue; the pricing page and features always show the current values.

Add-ons

Add-ons are a flat monthly price per workspace, whatever your keyword volume. They need a paid plan.

  • Keyword history: keeps keyword-level history for 16 months instead of 3 months. After you add it, the older days are loaded from Search Console in the background.
  • Agency: white-label reports and report emails, the client portal, project templates, meeting mode and the daily brands digest. See White label.

You switch add-ons on and off under Add-ons in the Change plan dialog. Adding one is charged now, prorated; removing one takes effect at the end of the paid period.

Buy a plan

  1. Open Settings → Plan and billing and select Upgrade.
  2. Choose how many keywords you want to track, with the preset amounts or the Custom amount slider.
  3. Choose the Billing period, switch on any add-ons, and enter a coupon code if you have one.
  4. Select Continue to checkout. You enter your card, billing address and, for a business, your tax ID on Stripe's secure checkout page.
  5. After payment you return to the Billing page, and the new volume is active.

You can also start from the pricing page: pick a volume there and continue to payment.

Change volume, add-ons or billing period

On a paid plan the button reads Change plan. Changes are made in the app without a new checkout, and the dialog shows the exact amounts before you confirm.

ChangeWhen it appliesWhat you pay
More keywords, or adding an add-onImmediately (Upgrade now)The difference for the rest of the current period, charged now
Fewer keywords, or removing an add-onAt the end of the paid period (Schedule change)Nothing today. No credit or refund for unused time
Monthly to yearlyImmediately; a new yearly period starts todayThe yearly price, less the unused part of the current period
Yearly to monthlyAt the end of the paid yearNothing today
  • A change that mixes both kinds is split: additions apply now, reductions wait for the end of the period.
  • You cannot pick a volume below the number of keywords you track today. Pause keywords in the rank tracker first.
  • A scheduled change is shown in a banner on the Billing page with a Cancel scheduled change button. Saving a new change replaces it.
  • If the card is declined on an upgrade, nothing changes. Update the card and try again.
  • To go back to Free, cancel the subscription; see below.

Monthly and yearly

You can pay monthly or yearly. The Billing period switch and the pricing page show what yearly billing saves compared with paying monthly. Add-ons follow the same billing period as the plan.

Coupons

  • Enter a code under Have a coupon code? in the Upgrade or Change plan dialog, or in the Coupon card on the Billing page. Codes are never typed on Stripe's page.
  • A code can be limited: to new customers, to a billing period, to a plan, to a range of keyword volumes, to an add-on, to certain dates or to a number of uses. The dialog tells you which rule a code does not meet.
  • One coupon at a time. A coupon that is already on your plan stays with it when you change the plan.
  • A code applied to your current plan does not charge anything today. It lowers your next invoices.

Tax, invoices and billing details

  • Tax is calculated by Stripe from your billing address and added on top of the price. Businesses can enter a tax ID at checkout.
  • The Invoices section of the Billing page lists every invoice with date, amount (tax included) and status. PDF downloads an invoice; Pay opens an unpaid one.
  • The Next charge card shows the date and estimated amount of the next payment, line by line.
  • Manage payment method opens Stripe's billing portal, where you change the card, the billing name, email, address and tax ID, and see past invoices.
  • The Billing details card stores your company name, country, tax number, address, up to five invoice email addresses and an optional PO reference. When you save it, the name, the address and the first invoice email are copied to Stripe and appear on your next invoice.
Good to know

Receipts and invoice emails are sent by Stripe, not by Serplyze. A tax ID is entered at checkout or in the billing portal under Manage payment method: Stripe checks its format for your country, so it is not copied from the Billing details card.

If a payment fails

  • The Billing page shows a Payment failed banner with Update card and Pay invoice. Members who cannot manage billing see a note asking them to tell an owner or admin.
  • Your plan, volume and add-ons stay active while Stripe retries the card automatically.
  • While an invoice is open you cannot change the plan. Pay the invoice first.
  • If the retries fail and Stripe ends the subscription, the workspace moves to Free, with the same effects as a cancellation.

Cancel

  1. Open Settings → Plan and billing and scroll to the Cancel subscription card.
  2. Select Cancel subscription, read what will change, and confirm.
  • You keep your plan, volume and add-ons until the end of the period you paid for. There is no refund for the remaining time.
  • Until that date a banner shows when the subscription ends, with a Keep my plan button that undoes the cancellation.
  • On that date the workspace moves to Free. Your 100 highest-traffic keywords keep tracking and the rest are paused. Paused keywords keep their stored history.
  • Keyword history older than 30 days is hidden at once and deleted 14 days later. Upgrade within those 14 days to get it back.
  • Add-ons end on the same date. API keys and live CSV links stop answering, and AI grouping, the full Traffic lists and invitations are no longer available.
  • Projects, groups, notes and reports are not deleted. You can subscribe again at any time with Upgrade.

To remove data rather than stop paying, see Delete your data.

Who can manage billing

  • Owners and admins can buy, change and cancel the plan, apply coupons, open the billing portal, and see invoices and billing details.
  • Other members see the plan name, the keyword volume and usage, active add-ons and the renewal date. They do not see prices, the card, invoices or billing details.
  • A workspace on an individually priced plan is invoiced by us; to change or cancel it, contact us.
