Exports

Download any table, list or chart as CSV or Excel, copy it for Google Sheets, and save reports as PDF. What each export contains and its limits.

Almost every table, list and chart in Serplyze has an Export button. It gives you the data behind what you are looking at, with the filters you have set, as a file or on the clipboard. Reports are the only thing you can save as PDF.

For data that should refresh on its own, use live CSV links or the REST API instead.

The Export menu

OptionWhat you get
CSVA comma-separated file in UTF-8. Opens in Excel, Numbers and Google Sheets.
Excel (.xlsx)A workbook with one sheet, a frozen bold header row and numbers stored as numbers.
Copy for SheetsThe table as tab-separated text on your clipboard. Paste it into Google Sheets or Excel.
  • Where a screen has several datasets, the menu lists each one with its own three buttons. The rank tracker, for example, offers the keywords table, the landing pages table, the chart series, the ranking spread by week, the group summary and the daily data per keyword.
  • An export contains every row that matches your current filters and search, not only the page of rows on screen.
  • Files are named after the project, the dataset and the date range, for example example.com-keywords-2026-02-13_2026-03-12.csv.

How values are written

  • Dates are YYYY-MM-DD. Numbers have no thousands separators.
  • CTR is a percentage with two decimals in a column named CTR %, so 4.12 means 4.12%. Position has one decimal. An empty cell means no data.
  • Yes/no columns contain yes or no. A Provisional column marks days that Google may still revise.
  • When a comparison period is on, the export adds columns for the previous period and the change.
  • In CSV and copied text, a cell that starts with =, +, - or @ gets a leading apostrophe so that a spreadsheet does not run query text as a formula. Plain numbers are left alone.
Good to know

The Export menu writes CTR as a percentage. The REST API and live CSV links write it as a ratio from 0 to 1. Keep that in mind when you combine the two.

The keywords table export has these columns: Keyword, Keyword ID, Group, URL, Target URL, Target match, Intent (estimated), Position, Position (start of period), Change, Status, Clicks, Impressions, CTR %. Other exports follow the columns of their table.

Daily data per keyword

This rank tracker export has one row per keyword and day: Date, Keyword, Keyword ID, Device, Clicks, Impressions, CTR %, Position, Ranking URL, Provisional. It can be large, so it is generated on the server and offered as CSV and Excel only.

  • It covers the period, device and filtered keywords of the rank tracker.
  • Days on which a keyword had no clicks and no impressions are left out.
  • CSV has no row limit. Excel is limited to 300,000 rows; above that you are asked to export CSV or pick a shorter period.

Reports as PDF

  • In the report builder, select Download PDF. Save the report first: the PDF shows the saved version.
  • On the History tab, PDF next to a sent report gives you that send again.
  • Depending on how the PDF is produced, you either get the file directly or the report's print view opens. In the print view, select Save as PDF and choose that as the destination in your browser's print dialog.
  • A person with a report's public share link can save the PDF from the shared page.
  • Scheduled report emails can carry the PDF and, if you switch on CSV of tables, one CSV file per table section. See Reports.
Limit

PDF downloads are limited to 6 per person per 10 minutes, and 6 per share link per 10 minutes. Only reports can be saved as PDF; other screens export data, not pictures of charts.

Limits

  • An Excel file holds at most 1,048,576 rows including the header, which is Excel's own limit. Rows beyond that are left out; use CSV for larger tables.
  • The alerts export holds the alerts loaded in the list: the newest 2,000 open or the newest 200 resolved.
  • The sent reports export holds the latest 30 sends.
  • The content decay export is available once every month of the range has loaded.
  • Keyword exports reach back as far as your plan's keyword history: 30 days on Free, 3 months on paid plans, 16 months with the history add-on.

How the plan affects exports

Exporting itself is included in every plan, in all three formats. What differs is how much data the screen holds, and the export contains the same data as the screen.

Plan

The Actions screen needs a paid plan and the Google updates impact table needs the Agency add-on, so their exports do too.

Roles and meeting mode

  • Everyone who can see a screen can export from it, viewers included. An export never contains more than the person can see in the app.
  • Clients in the client portal can export from the screens they have access to, for the projects they were given.
  • Meeting mode does not switch exports off. While it is on, hidden projects are not loaded at all, so they cannot appear in an export: the Dashboard, Alerts, Notes and Google updates exports cover the shown projects only, and a hidden project's own exports and report PDFs are unavailable.
  • Scheduled report emails and public share links are not affected by meeting mode.
