Rank tracking built on your Google Search Console data
Pick the keywords that matter and Serplyze reads their position, clicks, impressions and CTR from Search Console every day. The numbers are Google’s own for your site, so they match what you see in Search Console and what your client sees in theirs.

01What it answers
The questions this is built for.
“Where do we rank for the keywords we care about?”
Search Console shows every query in one long list. Here you choose the keywords, put them in groups, and see each one’s position today against last week, last month or last year.
“Did the ranking change bring any traffic?”
Every position sits next to the clicks and impressions real searchers produced, so a move from 8 to 4 shows up together with what it was worth.
“Which part of the site moved?”
Groups and folders roll up into a visibility score weighted by impressions and a rank spread from positions 1–3 to 51+, so you can report on a category, a brand or a market instead of single keywords.
02How it works
From Search Console to a tracked keyword list
- 01
Connect Search Console
Sign in with Google using the read-only scope (webmasters.readonly). We can’t change settings, submit sitemaps or add users, and you can revoke access at any time.
- 02
Choose keywords
Start from your top queries, paste a list, or import a CSV from another rank tracker. Keywords you don’t rank for yet show “no data” until Google first shows your site.
- 03
Organise them
Folders, hand-picked groups and rule-based groups that match on query text, landing URL, position, clicks, impressions or CTR. Rule-based groups update themselves as the numbers change.
- 04
Read it daily
A sync runs every day. Alerts flag rank drops, lost rankings and click losses, and your own rules watch a keyword or a group.

Limits
What it doesn’t do.
- Position is the average real searchers saw across locations and devices, not one exact spot checked from one city.
- Search Console hides very rare queries for privacy, so those never appear here either.
- There is no competitor tracking: Search Console only reports your own properties.
- Search Console data arrives with a delay of about two days; alerts only use days Google has finalised.
04Questions
Search Console rank tracking: common questions.
A scraping tracker checks one position from one location on one day. Search Console reports the average position real searchers saw, across every location and device, together with the clicks you actually got. You lose the exact pixel position and competitor positions; you gain real clicks and impressions for every keyword.
Search Console has no tracked keyword list, no groups that roll up, no daily history per keyword beyond what you export yourself, and no alerts. Serplyze adds those on top of the same numbers and keeps the history for you.
Keyword history is backfilled from Search Console when you connect: 30 days on Free, 3 months on paid plans and 16 months with the history add-on. Site-wide totals go back 16 months on every plan.
Yes. Add it and it shows “no data” until Google first shows your site for that query. From that day its position and clicks are tracked like any other keyword.
