Meeting mode

Lock the app to the projects of the client you are meeting. Every other project is hidden before it reaches your browser.

Meeting mode limits the app to the projects you pick. Every other project is hidden or shown as ***. Use it before you share your screen with a client, so no other client's name or numbers can appear.

Start meeting mode

  1. Click Meeting mode (the lock button) in the app header. The button appears when you can see more than one project.
  2. In Start meeting mode, tick the projects to keep visible. The project you are in is ticked already. With more than 6 projects a search field appears.
  3. Click Start meeting mode.

A banner under the header then reads “Meeting mode: showing N of M projects”, and the header button reads Meeting mode on. To pick other projects, exit first and start again.

What it hides and where

What is never sent to the browser

The filter runs on the server, in the code that loads the data. A hidden project's name, domain, numbers, alerts and notes are not part of the page that reaches your browser, so they cannot be found in the page source or the network tab either. A masked row carries only its position in the list.

Meeting mode only narrows what you could already see. It never widens access, and the access rules in the database stay the same. If the stored selection is damaged or belongs to another workspace, every project is hidden until you exit.

Exit meeting mode

  1. Stop sharing your screen.
  2. Click Exit meeting mode in the banner, or the Meeting mode on button in the header.
  3. In Exit meeting mode?, click Exit meeting mode. Stay in meeting mode cancels.

Limits

  • One meeting can keep up to 50 projects visible.
  • Meeting mode is stored in the browser you started it in. It survives reloads and stays on for up to 30 days, or until you exit. Other browsers, other devices and your teammates are not affected.
  • It does not change the emails Serplyze sends.
Limit

There is no PIN. Anyone at your keyboard can exit meeting mode with two clicks, so it protects a shared screen, not an unattended computer.

Requirements

  • The Agency add-on on a paid plan.
  • Any team member can start it: owner, admin, editor or viewer. Clients cannot.
  • You can only keep projects visible that you have access to yourself.
Plan

Meeting mode comes with the Agency add-on. Without it, the header button explains the feature and links to Settings, Agency. See pricing.
